Newly Synthesized Influenza Virus Proteins are Transported from the Nucleus

Newly synthesized nuclear NP, M and NS1 proteins migrated from the nucleus over a period of several hours. Rates of transport were higher for NP than for M or NS1 and suggest that nuclear NP may play a role in multiplication.
