Editorial

The Second International Congress of Plant Pathology will be held at the University of Minnesota, Minneapolis, Minnesota, U.S.A., 5–12 September 1973, under the sponsorship of the International Society for Plant Pathology.

Preliminary announcements about the Congress will be circulated in late 1970 and invitations to participants will be issued early in 1971.

The American Phytopathological Society has assumed responsibility for organizing the Congress. The Chairman of the Organizing Committee is Professor J. E. Mitchell, Department of Plant Pathology, University of Wisconsin, Madison, Wisconsin 53706, U.S.A.
