Front cover illustration
Immunofluorescence staining of mature dendritic cells expressing hepatitis C virus NS3 antigen. Single staining with DAPI (blue), HLA-DR-FITC (green) and anti-NS3 (red) antibodies are shown together with an overlay of the three colours at the bottom. DAPI staining represents the nucleus, HLA-DR is used as a marker for dendritic cells and anti-NS3 is used to localize hepatitis C virus antigen expression. Images courtesy Dr B. Agrawal, Faculty of Medicine and Dentistry, University of Alberta, Canada. See the paper by Li et al. in this issue, pp. 61-72.
