Indirect immunofluorescence analysis of a truncated NS4B protein of hepatitis C virus. An NS4B construct (NS4Bt110-260) was transiently transfected into Huh7 cells. After 48 h, cells were labelled with anti-Myc or anti-PDI antibody. NS4B proteins were immunostained with Alexa Fluor 488-labelled goat anti-mouse IgG (green), whilst PDI was stained with Alexa Fluor 568-labelled goat anti-rabbit IgG (red). DAPI staining (blue) revealed the nuclear chromatin. The bottom square shows the three images superimposed. Image courtesy N. Sakamoto, Tokyo Medical and Dental University, Tokyo, Japan.
